Thanksgiving weekend!

I wonder if there is really a difference between
our thanksgiving and American's so I googled a bit.
In Canada Thanksgiving is celebrated on the second Monday in October.
Unlike the American tradition of remembering Pilgrims and settling in the New World,
Canadians give thanks for a successful harvest.
The harvest season falls earlier in Canada compared to the United States
due to the simple fact that Canada is further north.

After our evening walky on Sunday I decided to take a boooty nap!
"I have to look fabulous at the pawty! I know my mom will
take lots of pictures!"
"Let hooomans work for the fiesta! Here's our chef and mom will be a
photographer and .. I would say a clean up girl!"

My mom LOVES stuffing. :)
This year we made it with lots of lots of herbs and wild rice.
We were thinking to prepare 4 packs of stuffing to make
my mom happy but 2 packs were actually enough...even for my mom,
Stuffing Lover!
Turkey is ready!

NO ROOM for desserts? honto ni?? no problem, i'll help you, momo!!! what a yummy looking turkey; what's it stuffed with? you know, i nearly thought you had gotten a new beige coloured brother or sister because of your yellow t-shirt! then i took another look and realised that it was you wearing a shirt in the kitchen.

I never tryed turkey.... here in Switzerland we don't do Hallowenn...grrrrr.... Does it taste like chicken ? Because it looks like a big chicken....

Thanksgiving in October...If ya think of it it seems like everything even in Virginia woulda been harvested by October. Wonder why we have to wait till almost Christmas to have our Thanksgiving? Do you think the American Pilgrims were thinking ahead to consumerism and holiday season sales??? Your date makes SO much more sense! Just lookin at ur pics made Scruffy drool so much over the keyboard, that I sent him for a towel

Wow Momo your food looks great. They are lucky I am not there to help celebrate. That turkey left alone all by itself would have been history with me and my cats.
