Oh boy...  where did the time go?

Yesterday September 18 was my barkday! 

I am now 13 year old!

A while ago, I was a little pup...

Here's my first appearance on this bloggy in November 2007. 

Anyway...  daddy got me a nice cake after work.

Mommy also had a plan but we all love daddy's pick!

Pandemic but life must go on! No. 2

Staying at home and not being able to social with friends

are difficult  

butt

we've been very lucky with the weather in Toronto

which encouraged my hoomans to go outside a lot!!

Summer is short.  Make most of it!

Mom was very impressed how bro's teacher organized class

using Google Meet and Google Classroom.

I often participated his class to get to know his classmates.

Bro made a slideshow about my life and represented

to his class online.

This is how it begins.  😁😁

After over 3 months of remote learning, this challenging school year came to the end.

Bro graduated from the elementary school he spent past 8 years since

junior kindergarten.

Grade 6 Grads walked around the school while parents, teachers and neighbours 

clapped them out.

Farewell ceremony will be postponed till the fall.

Congrats to all!

One day, I found myself in the middle of mess.  bol

Where am I?!?

Mom said Angel Momo and I lived here 12 years ago but don't remember a thing!

I was a tiny pup back then!

I sniffed and tried to leave many p-mails as possible 

on our new route. 

Things are getting better these days.  :)

During this time, what skill my hoomans improve the most?

Hello friends! Loooooooong Time No See!

Hello Canadian friends!

Happy Canada Day!

Mom aka chief-editor has been doing triple duties

and never helped me to surf bloggies these days.

Over due, mom!

Thanks technology!

Since mid-March, mom is working from home

and bro is studying remotely using Google Meet.

No worries, mom! Bro is studying!

Having two homans at home means I get more walkies during a day.

Yay! 

Oh well pandemic...

Hair Salons were closed.

Mom looked up how to trim boys' hair on YouTube

except mine!

Public events took place as the 'virtual' ones!

You run, record your time using app and post your result on line.

I have no complain!  I have more walkies!  

Mid-May, Dog parks in Toronto were re-opened.

We must keep 2m (6f) social distancing....  

7 chihuahua or 4 me?

One day, mom said she needed to clean up and pull out this old thingy 

from the storage and turn on the switch.

It worked!!

It's called iMac G3, 160 year old.  (have you ever heard it?)

Apparently this was a sensational back then! bol

I wonder why she started cleaning up our house.

Happy Easter!

Did Easter Bunny show up?  🐰

We were worried during this challenging time.

Toronto Mayor and Ontario Premier announced that 

"the Easter Bunny is an essential service provider and 

authorized to deliver Easter Chocolate

to kids!'

So HE DID!!

He left a very nice busket

BUTT

I was only allowed to sniff it as usual 

since Chocolate is not a good food for doggies.

Instead, I enjoyed Sunday bro time.

We are so sad.

Jan and we met when our angel Momo started bloggy in 2006

and shared many many adventures.

We wonder how Jan and her furrys have been doing so we visited 

their bloggy and left a comment.

Sadly, we just learnt from Power Of The Paw that 

our long time friend has left us on April 2 

and went across the rainbow bridge.

Here's the obituary. 

RIP, Jan.  

You'll be missed.

Uncertain time but let's make most of it!

Hello my dear friends! It's me Pinot.  

I hope you're all happy and most importantly.. healthy!

Sadly, COVID-19 has given us a very unique times for everyone.

I am pawsonally not familiar with extended school closures, 

social distancing (6 feet apart each other?)

and 

'working from home' kinda stuff. 

Whatta beautiful day despite of what is going on!

As a pup, it's difficult to understand why many hoomans stock up 

on supplies such as bread, pasta and....toilet paper!

Well... if you have a bag of flour, you can make bread and pasta

from scratch! 

Anyways....back to toilet pater issues, 

mom found toilet paper a week after

BUTT

they were all gone so quickly.

"Two packs per customer", please!  

In Ontario, all public funded schools were closed for two weeks

after a week long March break.  

That said, my bro stays home under mom's supervision 

who is fortunately allowed to work from home for the very first time. 

This is his science experiment online.

He did better job after this was taken.

Math homework and Reading and Heritage project

 were provided by his awesome teacher Ms. A!

This month heritage project is Greek.  Opa!

While mom was doing groceries, we visited Sugar Beach

across from the supermarket.

Sugar Beach is an urban beach park located next to Lake Ontario.

This is a place for relax. 

You are NOT supposed to swim or jump to Lake Ontario, just saying.

Then we found a newly built tinny tiny dog park.

"Bro, I wouldn't sit down on that pee pad mountain!"

Food Report

Hello friends, it's me Pinot!

It's winter and not much going on here.  

We boys spend lots of time 

together talking and cuddling these days. 

Today, I'd like to report what we enjoyed at home..

Food!

So here we go...

 This is A BIG salad bowl.  

Lots of baby spinach, tuna, 

Edamame, Brussel Sprouts, carrot and orzo pasta. 

Seafood Ancient Grains Linguine.

Pirogies with sautéed yellow peppers.

Simple salad with mushroom soup.

Cold Udon, Soba, dipping sauce and Spinach salad.

That green paste Wasabi is very spicy!

Wholegrain spaghetti and sautéed King Oyster mushrooms.

Garlicky!

Roasted root veggies and garlic.

YUM!

Super Bananary Banana Bread.

Breakfast baked egg toast. 

Homemade tomato sauce and mussels with bread.

Flatbread with homemade red onion chutney.

My bro and mom often discuss what colour is missing from our food.

It's obviously purple!   

Fortunately, this winter has been mild.  This is probably our 2nd snow week.

This is me, doing fetch in the snow.

Ok...  We are back to bro & bro time.  :) :)
