Facebook? What?!?

Hello friends! We have a small annoucement!

When I, Momo started blogging nine years ago, there were many doggy bloggers

out there but most of our friends have moved their blogs to facebook.

To mark my 10th barkday,

mom decided to create our blog facebook page.

We're really not so sure how it goes...

because....

We know it won't be anything spectacular!! hahaha~

Just like she prefers CD over 'digital' music, we like our old fashioned blog better!

Happy Barkday, Momo!!

A long long summer school holiday is just about to finish.

Yesterday, we took our bro to our morning walky as usual.

Then he told us that mom and he had a good plan.

Making a  carrot, apple sauce and oats birthday cake together!

First bro shredded two carrots then mixed with eggs and apple sauce. 

He had lots of fun mixing dry and wet ingredients while sampling them a lot.  bol

He said the most important job is done!

Oh bro..., you make us cry!

Let's make some cake decorations-peanuts butter cookies!

Making a big dough is like being in the art class!

The decorations are done.

Our kitchen is so busy today.... we wonder why....

Then bro was putting some cream cheese and apple sauce icing.

In the meanwhile, daddy was preparing something special.

Mom and dad said it's hard to believe I, Momo is now ten year young.

That said they've been together over ten years! :) :)

New Doggie Vest

Daddy finally found this Salus Skippy vests after a long search. 

Last night we did test run at this super doggie friendly beach,

Cherry Beach, Toronto.

The vest fit us very well.  

Unlike other vests we had looked at, this one has paddling under the tummy

for optional buoyancy. 

I feel safe.... even thought I probably won't swim at all so much.

It's time for fetch in the water!

My frisbee is always popular among bigger doggies.  

You may remember this post (link) from July 2013.

Last night, new friends jumped into the water

to follow my frisbee as usual.

"Let's go get it!"

Opps, wrong way!

Oh wait... where is my frisbee?!?

He had a huge stick in his mouth but got

my brisbee, too!

Impressive!

(But I need to have it back, please!)

I did more swimming and made sure this vest worked well.

We wonder if new adventure is waiting for us.

Oh yes, I lost my beloved frisbee after this

picture was taken.  It went too far to swim and it was washed away!!!

On his barkday, mom and took him to the amusement park

on Toronto Centre Island.

Here's the city's night view from there.

They got home late but we enjoyed mid-night walky with mom.

The breeze was refreshing.

Summer holidays!

OMD!  

We have no idea why time goes by so quickly. 

Our brudder finished the school year as grade 1

a few weeks ago.

Now he's in the middle of 10 Weeks of summer holidays.

Remind you, TEN WEEKS!!!

It means we have to teach him how to take us out for a good walky
again!

A bottle water. Check!

A travel cup, Check!

and of course my MY Frisbee!  Check!

"Not bad, bro!"

He also needs to know how to fetch again.

"Good job, bro!"

Corn Free!! :)

Yesterday, I Momo had a second re-check after the surgery which took place

over a month ago.

I finished all my anti-biotics.  

All the post surgical tests were done and....

Yep, I still kept my fabulous corn around my neck.

I know the reason why I am here! hehe...

It was a nice sunny afternoon after a few wet wet days.

So I enjoyed a nice walky with my family.

And look at me!  The vet lady gave me a thumbs up!

My corn is removed!!

Momo is doing well! :)

Hello friends, it's me, Momo!

After my previous post, I needed to stay home

before my surgery.  Fortunately, antibiotics stop my bleeding and it made me 

feel a teeny tiny better.

Still I didn't have much appetite so 

mom fed me a piece of baguett with PEANUTS BUTTER for the first time!

"Sissy, what's that yummy smell?"

The Big Day had come.

Since I was a pup, I've had heart murmur issues and our vet
advised my mom and dad not to neutered me. 

They had mix feelings what had happened to me
since they learnt my uterus was badly infected.

Vet lady removed my sicky parts and the surgery went smoothly. 
But she suggested me to stay overnight at the hospital.

And....

I am home!

I have to wear an Elizabethan collar until the sutures will be removed.

Mmmm......  :(

My brudder always wanted to make Gelenimo Stilton's Cheeseful Cake

so he made it for me!

He did a great job!  This is our bro spreading topping over the cheese cake.

Two hours later....

it's done!

Our pieces are kinda tiny but yummy~!

Next morning, mom took me out for 1-meter walky 

in front of our house.

Exercise was restricted but I got some fresh air at least.

Then I sunbathed on my mom's laps at our backyard.

She also gave me neck massage.  :)

"Ahhhhh, sun feels good!'

Mom and dad have monitored my incision closely. 

There is no redness or swelling...which is great!

Being pampered was nice.  It was very relaxing... :)

So mom took seflie!

Ok...This was a hight light of the week.

Roast Chicken Pawty took place by Daddy The Chef!

We haven't had it for so long!

It was delicious!

My appetite is back to almost normal after the pawty!

Next day, I, Pinot found something.
