Meet The Queen

If you live in UK, what we're about to post may not be so special
BUT
hey, we're here in Canada!
The Queen has made a visit here many times (22 times!) but seriously,
how often do we get to see her in pawson in your home town??
Ok, maybe not in pawson but pretty close.... :) :)
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh (The Prince Phillip) attended the official
departure ceremony at Ontario's Legislative Building of Queen's Park. They wrapped up their 9-day 2010 Royal Tour to Canada at Queen's Park.
Yap, Queen's Park. Very Nice! :) :)
We wanted to join a crowds but it was 34C=93F (feels like 42C).
I Momo suffered from heatstroke at Queens Park a while ago
so our pawrents wanted us to stay home.
**********************
Our pawrents's two cameras and a camcorder were ready at the back of the building.
"The Queen!!!"
"Welcome to Toronto, Her Majesty The Queen
and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh of ....."
(We practised this line many many time at home but didn't get a chance
to BOL!)
"See you later at the front lawn!"
Our pawrents found another spot at the front lawn of the

legislature to wait The Queen's appearance.

"Here she comes..... accompanied by Ontario Premiere Dalton McGuinty.
Our mom and dad wondered if she walked toward them....
Everyone's camera and iPhone were ready.
Here they came.....
"Hello Hellooooooooo"
We really should have gone if the weather was not so crazy hot.
Do you konw The Queen's grate great-grandma The Queen Victoria
had a Cavalier named Dash?
Does this doggie resemble both of us?? :) :)

The Queen didn't come to the side where our humans waited but
she was only 10 meters away from them. Woo Phew~!

One very lucky girl in crowds was chosen to
give flowers to The Queen.

BTW, little boys are hardly chosen (or never?) to give flowers to The Queen.
Why Why WHY??
It's always a little girl with a cute dress and hat. :D :D
While our pawrents kept taking photos of The Queen,
Guess what????
Prince Phillip was standing up infront of our mom!!!!

The Royal Couple was greeted by The Governor General Michaelle Jean

and The Prime Minister, Stephen Harper.

According to the official schedule, The Queen was supposed to see

as many Canadians as possible and she really did.

The walkout lasted for about

a half an hour on such a hot hot day.

"The Queen was here!"
There were not very many dogs at Queen's Park
BUT mom and dad met two Corgie Girls, Sandy (R) and Megan.
Very appropriate!
Later this day, while our mom was still at work,
the couple landed to NYC and made a speech at UN.
What a busy schedule!!
"We didn't get to see you but we hope you enjoyed your stay."

Cavalier(s) in super action!!

"Ready????"
"Action!"
Our favourite one!
"You can do it, brudder!!
On the way home, we saw a very new born pavement... and couldn't resist to step in.
You can actually see my (me, Momo) pawprint on the top left corner. :)
Please don't tell anyone, ok? :) :)

Happy Daddy & Grandpa's Day!!

We were very proud to be a good team on Daddy & Grandpa's Day.
We placed the pressies and waited for daddy to show up to the kitchen.
Meantime we were sending virtual kisses and hugs to
our human grandpa who lives a half globe away from here! :) :) :)
"Do you think daddy like the pressies??"
We saw daddy was smiling.
In the evening, it was still very warm.
Daddy and our brudder had matching T-shirts during our evening walky.
To all daddies and grandpas...

Woofstock Day 1 - Cavalier reunion!

First of all, we're so sorry for not being able to come by your blog lately.
We wanted to say hello to all of you but
the chief editor was always 'out of energy' (=yap, lazy) after coming home from work.
She didn't help us to surf the net at all for past two weeks.
*********************
I Pinot went to the groomer a few days ago. :)
Our favourite groomer girl C had only one spot
so our dad trimmed my feet.
Our brudder also had a haircut and he has become mini daddy.
Do we look ok?? :) :) :)
Two Spoiled Cavaliers on the way to....
The largest festival for doggies in North America!
This is Momo's 5th time to come here since 2006.
****************
Woofstock 2006 ... we didn't have a blog. Da~
Woofstock 2007: Day 1.
Woofstock 2007: Day 2
Woofstock 2008: Day 1 & 2 (Pinot's first appearance)
Woofstock 2009: Day 1
Woofstock 2009: Day 2
Unfortunately the weather was not the bestest on this very exciting day.
"Let's check out!"
"It's not as crowded as usual but it's ok!
We're happy to be here."
We saw a beautiful Great Dane and she reminded us of Honey.
While we were taking some photos....
we bumped into our Cavalier friend, beautiful Jasmine and her family!!!!
While we were taking some photos with the family....
Guess what!!
We met another Cavalier friend fashion model Shelby and her mate, super cute Coquette.
We had a very nice get together last year at here Woofstock.
Within 10 minutes to get to Woofstock, we had a very nice Cavalier reunion.
"Thank you all!!"
Then we headed to Best Costume Contest on the main stage.
Mom said 'ahhh yum!"
She loves all these three chocolate candies.
Handsome Elvis doggie...
"Thank you, thank you very much"
The host of the contest was a well known Canadian Comedian/actress,
Carla Collins. We were glad she was back. :) She's very funny.
The three finalist. The lady in centre is well know for this festivalgoers.
She always makes own costume for her doggie.
It was too bad that the weather was getting really bad.
It started pouring. We were all soaked and needed to get back to the car.
Despite of this wet weather, we had a great time.
We'll be back tomorrow!!

Our last morning walky with mom

Yap, that's right. Our last one.
For a past few months, our day start with our morning walky with our mom
after mom and dad come back from a place called daycare.
We really don't know what it means but we heard you will find many
young humans under training like our brudder.
"Time to check out our pee-mails!"
A quick stop for the refreshment.
We're very thankful for a very kind human who have left a water bowl for doggies next to
the water fountain. Today we had our own which is a pressie from
Kana's mom. :) :)
We'll lead the way...
The blue thingy is our water bowl. It looks like a frisbee, doesn't it?
It fits in your purse, ladies... :D
"Keep up, mom!"
We saw many human kids playing sport.
Then we had to take a quick break.
It was 10 in the morning but the temperature was already 25C (77F).
Can't wait to have another refreshment at home!
Good luck on your return to work, mom!
