Visiting to Niagara Falls!

Hope all of you had a pawtastick Easter weekend!
The weather is getting better.
Mom and dad decided to take a trip to Niagara Falls with us
on the long weekend!

It usually takes about 90 minutes to get there from Toronto
IF there is no traffic on the highway.

This day, QEW (Queen Elizabeth Way) was almost empty and it took us only an hour!

Our first stop was a very historical & Charming town called
Niagara-On-The Lake

If you enjoy history, theatre, good food, and local wine,
hiking & cycling,
this is your destination.  ;) ;)

It was chilly but a beautiful day!

We first walked on a shoreline of Lake Ontario.

"Pinot, this is not an ocean!"

Looking at Fort George.

"We feel history!"

Here we are at downtown area.
There are many shops, restaurants, hotels on the main street.

We smelled something....

A kind owner of the shop left water and....

...... dog cookies in the antique silver plates.
Lovely!

"Are you going to give us, brudder?"

"Nope, I will keep them as their afternoon snack!"

More strolling.... and met Mr. Bull Terrier.

 Cheese~.
In front of the Clock Tower!

Wait.  This side looks better!

Easter goodies in the window.

More goodies for humans!

Yap, chocolate bunnies!

Someone got a very yummy thing that we can't share!

Humans stopped at this shop to look for their mid-night snack. hehehe

More walkies~.

Then it was time to drive to Niagara Falls.

We took lunch break at the park.

Let's walk and view the Falls!

American Falls (in New York)

Canadian Horseshoe Falls.

This is me, back in September 2007.
My first trip to the Falls. (Link)

This is MY first one.
I am impressed!

Ice on the river is melted but you can still see huge layers of snow.

Oh, we almost forget.  Here's our secretary/ photographer,
mom!

The mid-night snack they got from Scottish Lost
are these bags.

Mom got Twiglets!  Yay!
Dad was thinking to order Marmite Crisps online but we found it!

Hi my friends, that´s the place - Niagara on lake where I want to stay for a longer time - most of the streets I know -unforgettable all this little house in original style and the pubs and the smell....the nearby wine region and than the falls - never thought and saw them so with still ice and snow . This trip on easter was simply the best idea to have fun and some tasty food.
Here spring is so fast and summer round the corner - never had such a year...so have a good rest of the week - we met us here again ;-)
