We wanted to be the witnesses of the event that everyone was waiting for.
The Royal Wedding 2011! |
This is Cavalier girl Camilla in her wedding gown and her human Anne at Westminster Abbey.
"Doesn't she look like me?"
All major networks were scheduled to air the "Red Carpet" from London for a couple hours before
the actual nuptials started at 6 in the morning of our time.

Dad decided to stay up all night long. Mom went to bed around 1:30 and her alarm clock woke us
up at 3:50.
The guests' arrival at The Abbey at 4am of our time. |
Prince William and Harry arrived at the Abbeys.
I Momo was very sleepy but I was still awake.

Camilla sure looks like you, Momo. Good for us, we didn't have to get up in those odd hours to watch it. Because of the time difference, it was five in the evening over here.
We didn't watch the ceremony, but from the photos we've seen, Kate was a lovely bride.
OH you poor things! My hoomies watched it, I didn't. Weddings aren't my thang!
We were up at 4AM and we watched some of the ceremony over breakie at 6. But then it was time for walkies and Mitch's groomies and we caught the highlights on the evening news. It was a lovely wedding!
Love ya lots
Maggie and Mitch
Well done to your humans for being awake at 4 am to watch! We would have fallen asleep too, love the photo of the lady and her cavalier waiting for the procession :-) Dex & Lou x
My girl is kind of glad that the fever is over and that Kate & Wills are finally married. Looks like you guys made a big celebration out of it. I couldn't have stayed awake that long either, Momo.
I especially love the wordless Wednesday photo of Pinot & your brudder. That's a pretty funny expression on Pinot's face.
Glad your look-alike got to be there for the wedding, Momo.
Goober love & smooches,
Stanley
We were lucky in Australia. The wedding started on TV about 4:30pm our time on Friday, with the actual scenes of the the bride arriving about 7:00pm. So it was "user friendly". I watched it all and loved it!
I'm following your blog now - thanks for stopping by mine. It was so fun putting on my bridal attire...mum couldn't believe how good I was during that shoot. Today is my 1st Birthday!!! and the pawty is later on today!! Tail Wuggles, Rubie. xxx

Hello my canadian friends, thank you for following my blog during I stayed in North Holland at the seaside. The blooming fields there are fantastic and the smell is like parfum...up´s - like flowers in spring.
Yes I watched the royal wedding all hours until the kiss ...it was here only one hour different from London. It was so great and my mummys eyes were full of tears - she loves weddings and special a royal ;-)) But sometimes I wonder because she founds her own and handsome prince years ago and he lives still by her side.....;-))so as me - Aiko - toooooooooo.

Just time flowed so quick.

Hi Momo & Pinot! My humans enjoyed the Royal Wedding too! Paul is not usually very interested in the royal family but he said suddenly, he felt "oddly patriotic" - ha! ha! Must have been the sight of all those Union Jacks waving! :-)
And how exciting that there was a cavalier there too!
Slobbers,
Honey the Great Dane
Sounds like a big event! We watched it the next day, since it was happening at 3 in the morning in the U.S. And even though it was all the way over in Great Britain, there was still a lot of excitement about it here too!
cute momo and pinot! haha :)
yes we watched it, 5pm our time :)
Yes watched throughout the day and I think most folk here in England were glued to the television.
A friend of mine also camped outside Westminster Abbey in order to get a good position for the Royal Wedding.
It was a wonderful event and I am delighted that you were able to enjoy the event too, albeit, the snooze has a priority too.
Hi Momo and Pinot! You are both so cute!!! I am a Cav too, 7 months old and live in Sydney Australia with my mum and dad (though, shhh, I wish I has a sister/brother to play with!).
Anyway, I know this might not be the right post to respond to for my question...but I couldn't figure out how to contact you. Anyway, I was wondering if you could give any press to this petition. It is about a cav, and I cannot repeat the story because it makes me cry too much, but have a read. If you could try to get your readers to participate...we might be doing a great thing for animal cruelty rights. I know it is a big ask, but it broke my heart, so I am passing to anywhere I know how!
