October recap!

Hello there!  It's me Juno!

October went by so quickly.  Here's my recap of my days.

When mom works from home, I often give her my VERY best sad puppy
eyes to let her sign off earlier.

Grrrrr!!!  Somehow my effort never work!

Thanksgiving Day in Canada took place on October 14.

Chef daddy made yum yum dinner.
As always there is no birdy and had tons of veggie dishes.

I had my own stuffing bowl.

I saw Hunter's Moon on October 16.

Moon looks huge!

We enjoyed Fall colours.

My bro competed at High School Cross Country meet trying to
be qualified to the (Toronto) City Championships,
then Provincial Championships.

Trees look really nice!

Oh Don't forget we had Halloween!
Bro doesn't do Trick or Treating anymore and rather hang out with friends.

Instead I had good walkies with mom.

I took daddy for walkies, too!

While bro was training with his running club teammates at the beaches area,
I ran with mom again.

This is my longest runn!  Yay!

I know I know.... Many hoomans may wonder why we have
the "beaches" in Toronto.

We actually have four beaches along the Lake Ontario shoreline
in this lovely neighbourhood.

It offers nice sandy beach, many shops, restaurants,
great parks (dog parks included!) and huge boardwalk.

We strolled on the boardwalk after run.

Bro and his high school teams did something remarkable
at the City Championships!

All teams (Grade 9, 10, 11-12, boys and girls) made it to
the Ontario Provincial Championships in Ottawa!

Bro had a great time travelling with his friends and stayed overnight at the hotel.

Mom flew to Ottawa by herself.

Unfortunately the weather was absolutely awful.
It was cold, windy and rainy all day long
at Terry Fox Athletic Facility.

Anyways, runners got used to the bad weather and didn't complain at all.

The course was very difficult. Look at the steel hill.

By the time his race began, the rain really picked up and the course was
super muddy and slippery.

Congrats on your Pawsonal Best, bro!

OMD, mom didn't run but soaked badly and exhausted!!

Now it's time to honour and pay respect for those who sacrificed.

Until next time, take care everyone!

Hi Juno ... (and Bro) ... what a wonderful month you had with so many exciting things going on. Loved that you shared them all with us, all around your beautiful city ... and congrats to Bro on his running accomplishments!
We'll anxiously await your November fun stuff, and meanwhile send a "hello and bark" from Xander down in Tampa. He had to "evacuate" for a little while when a HurryCane came blowing through and so missed about a week of school, but all is good and well now. You and your family take care ... bye, meows and woofs from JUNE (the cat) and mine Mommy, Ann

Dear Juno, we are so glad to see you today. My what a month you had in october. We love the colorful trees you had because we had such a bad drought our trees just turned brown and now there's no leaves left. We congratulate your brother how wonderful that he's such a great runner. Maybe one day he'll be in the Olympics and you'll have to make sure we know. And you, what a walk you had that day along that was. You look so high in the sky you really get to see some great sites. We lived down on the ground. Now here we are getting into the middle of november. See you soon, precious.

We think your bro is very brave to run in all that rain. I don't like rain at all!

It sounds like you had a nice October, with all kinds of activities. #1 says that Toronto is a super nice city to live in!
