April edition published in May!

Hello my friends!
It's me, Juno!

My pawrents and I went to cheer on my bro and his running club teammates
who ran at Spring Sprint 5K!

It was held at Toronto's beautiful Beaches area.
The weather was gorgeous!

It was nice to meet Cavalier puppy who was busy
sniffing the ground.  :)

A puppy detective mode is on after snow is gone!

And.... guess what?

I turned 2 on April 7!!

Happy Barkday to me!

My barkday cake was healthy cheesecake with berries.

Thanks bro for giving me a large portion that
I deserved it!  bol

If you live in North America,
you may have enjoyed The Total Solar Eclipse on April 9.

We were looking forward to it but mom worried about the weather.
She was working from home and kept checking NASA and the weather network.

2:11 pm

It was a mixed of sun and clouds.

Eye protection was ready!

2:31pm

The sun was visual when the moon started covering the sun.

Image taken through an eclipse glasses.

2:46 pm.

The sun made an appearance from the clouds.

3:19pm : The Peak Time!

When the moon blocked the sun, the sky was covered with thick clouds and
we were unable to view the magical moment!

Where is the famous ring?

It was interesting to see the sky got dark and felt cold quickly.
We were at the school yard.  Everyone who waited for this moment was
SO disappointed! ๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ˜ข

Sadly, we don't get to see the total eclipse until 2144 in Toronto.

2144!!!

3:29pm.

The sun was peaking from the cloud.

5:17pm.

After the show was over, we had a very nice sunny afternoon!

Wish if it were two hours ago!!

Did you get to see?

Have a great week everyone!

Happy Belated Birthday, Juno. We didn't get to see any part of the sun during the eclipse, and we were in the path of totality just south of you in Rochester, NY. It was completely overcast during the entire eclipse. We did spend the eclipse time outside in our yard to experience how the nature around us responded and we did notice all the birds go quiet during the darkness.

Happy barkday, Juno! That sre was nice of your brother to give you a big slice of that yummy cheesecake. :)

We had a view of about a 92% eclipse. Even though it was not total, the temperature did drop very quickly, just like you said!

Wow! Looks like you had a great barkday Juno! Your humans are the best to make it a big celebration!
Our mom LEFT us for the eclipse and went to Vermont where the skies were clear! It was amazing to see!(she had gone to Nashville in 2017 for that eclipse and just like you, there were clouds, so she wanted to see this for once in her life!)

We're sorry to be so late commenting, Juno. First of all, a belated but heartfelt Happy Second Birthday!

The day at The Beaches sounds like fun. #1 says she remembers going there with her Toronto cousins many years ago and really enjoying it.

Woofs,
Ollie

Happy Belated Birthday, Juno. Too bad you didn't get to see the eclipse. We drove about 2 hours from home to the Long Sault Parkway. We had a great view.

Sadly no eclipse for us in UK, at least not that I saw. My, that is a huge piece of cheesy cake. I do not do berries, but the cheesy bit looks ever so tasty. Happy Barkday to you, Juno!

Juno, it's nice to meet you, thank you for stopping by my Musings blog. I used to have a separate blog for my fur babies, but they are all angels now.

You had a wonderful birthday, it seems, with such a yummy cake! It looks like you're living the good life with your humans, which is as it should be. ๐Ÿ™‚

BTW, I am east of Toronto by a few hours, and it's nice to see other Canadian bloggers!
