Oh, hello again!

Suprprise!

Today we're having a Wintery Winter Day!

We woke up to fresh snow this morning.

 

Just realized we only updated our post whenever we got snow 

BUT

it's been very mild and had absolutely NO snow for the longest time.

We'll have fun, sissy Momo!

We miss summer!

We're spoiled by this record breaking mild winter, said mom and dad.

BUT....

Seriously it is chilly!

Ahhhh, we miss our summer activities!!

 

 This afternoon, mom found some pictures from summer.

OMD, we forgot about summer!!

 This day in mid July, we dropped by Sherbourne Common in downtown

Toronto to chill out!

During the summer, we can enjoy the splash pad.

When the cold wind hit the town, this place is transformed to the skating rink.

But we don't go there now since we are not the ice skater doggies.

Bro, throw my Frisbee!!

We had a great time.  Even some human kids we never met before were so friendly

and did fetch for me, Pinot!

 

After that, we had a nice walky along the Harbourfront.

Boots!

Yesterday morning, the windchill went down below -20c (-4F).

We've been happy to have kept the record hit warm winter... 

but ...

It's time to put the boots on!

First Snowfall!

When we woke up this morning,

everything was covered by snow!

Our outdoor decoration snowman finally got

some real snow.

It was fresh, fluffy and WHITE!!

Luckily, it was only -1C (30F) so it was not freezing cold

but....

Once the temperature will drop a little more,

this is what it has been waiting for us.

We've been spoiled by mild winter but

it's about time!

Homework Helper

School children are very busy these days.

Just like many others, our brudder takes after-school programs.

He enjoys taking soccer and swimming programs. :) :) 

Therefore, his bed time means homework time!

To do homework and keep up with the online math

and reading programs are a lot to do for him (and his helper, mom)!

So I Momo decided to help him out on IXL (the math

Winter is coming

What?  Is today December 1st?!?

Our summer and autumn stretched nicely this year

but it is getting chilly lately. 

Grrrrr, winter is definitely coming. 

Mom suggested to wear winter coats from now on.

Daddy's BBQ

Pouring rain, strong wind and darkness!!

This is NOT nice at all!

 I Momo have no motivations what so ever!

So... let's talk about daddy's BBQ to wake her up!

hehehe....

You probably know Daddy has a Big Green Egg

which is a Kamado-Style charcoal barbecue cooker. 

Only daddy can handle to cook all kinds of goodies!

One evening, he made a Margherita!

Then put some fresh basil on top!

Yum!

This was an appetizer.

Who ate that before pic taken?

Then the main dish came in!

Daddy placed smoked salmon and Brie just before pizza was done. 

Pawfect!

Again, fresh basil is a must!

He often cooks seafood, too!

Very Garlicky Shrimps!

Smells fantastic but we didn't get to eat.

Every once in a while, he cooks Chicken just for us!

Mom requested lots of Crimini mushroom along with 

smoked salmon the other evening.

Shrimps and baby Spanish were good

toppings, too!
