Momo is doing well! :)

Hello friends, it's me, Momo!

After my previous post, I needed to stay home
before my surgery.  Fortunately, antibiotics stop my bleeding and it made me
feel a teeny tiny better.
Still I didn't have much appetite so
mom fed me a piece of baguett with PEANUTS BUTTER for the first time!

"Sissy, what's that yummy smell?"

The Big Day had come.

Since I was a pup, I've had heart murmur issues and our vet
advised my mom and dad not to neutered me.

They had mix feelings what had happened to me
since they learnt my uterus was badly infected.

Vet lady removed my sicky parts and the surgery went smoothly.
But she suggested me to stay overnight at the hospital.

And....
I am home!

I have to wear an Elizabethan collar until the sutures will be removed.
Mmmm......  :(

My brudder always wanted to make Gelenimo Stilton's Cheeseful Cake
so he made it for me!

He did a great job!  This is our bro spreading topping over the cheese cake.

Two hours later....
it's done!

Our pieces are kinda tiny but yummy~!

Next morning, mom took me out for 1-meter walky
in front of our house.

Exercise was restricted but I got some fresh air at least.

Then I sunbathed on my mom's laps at our backyard.

She also gave me neck massage.  :)

"Ahhhhh, sun feels good!'

Mom and dad have monitored my incision closely.
There is no redness or swelling...which is great!

Being pampered was nice.  It was very relaxing... :)
So mom took seflie!

Ok...This was a hight light of the week.
Roast Chicken Pawty took place by Daddy The Chef!

We haven't had it for so long!

It was delicious!

My appetite is back to almost normal after the pawty!
Thank you, daddy!

Next day, I, Pinot found something.

Thanks so much for your kinds messages, everyone!
We're sending back to our xoxo to you...

I'll be alright...

It's me, Momo.  I have been diagnosed with pyometra today.
I was given antibiotics and I ate a little bit of wet food
after mom was monitoring me tonight.
Paws crossed for my up coming operation.
I have to stay strong....

Cherry Blossoms

Cherry blossoms at High Park are very pretty
and one of the must to do's in Toronto in spring.

Because peak bloom lasts only for a week (if there is no rain or strong wind),
you have to know when is the best day to visit.

There are some links to track the progress.

Yesterday, we learnt it was full bloom!

"I feel pretty! Can you see my Sakura bandana?" :)
It was a gorgeous afternoon!

"Whoa, these trees look spectacular and smell so good!"

"Hold on, a lot of humans had picnic under the tree!"
That where the smell comes from.

We strolled a little while until our
brudder thought he had enough!!  :D :D

Playing at the Adventure Park is the reward to
our patient bro.

"Mommy~, don't forget I need a ice cream break!"

We took a short break with daddy.

We never find a missing selfie stick
so we had to do it an old fashioned way.

We barely fit in the frame!

Have a wonderful week, everyone!

Walky at Evergreen Brick Works

Finally finally 2 digit temperature is here!

Here we are at Evergreen Brick works.

Let's sniff around!

We saw something new!

Can you see turtles on the top?

Interesting!
That's new floating island to protect turtles.

Let's walk to the top of the hill!
It looks challenging but only takes five minutes to get there. ;) ;)

There is no picture but we met many doggies.

This is a city view from the top.

And...a nature view!

This is taken by our brudder.
Oh no..., where is daddy's head?

After lots of sniffing outside,
there was something else we couldn't stop sniffing at home.

Daddy's homemade pizza~~!!

Have a great weekend, everyone!

Walkies on Easter Weekend

Hello there!
We hope you had a good Easter long weekend.

Has spring arrived here?
Mmmmm...., not quite.
but it's not good to be hibernated for so long.

So we did some walkies on the Harbour Front.

"It's time to shed off our winter weight!"

One after another, new condo construction sites are
everywhere in Toronto and this area is not exception.

Swan couple being very elegant.

We wanted to say hi but daddy told us not to get so close
to these beautiful birdies.

Once this lady aka The Bird Lady stopped her cart,
all birdies saw her from distance right away.

Whoa, how many birdies are flying over here?!?

"Yay~, snack Time, everybody!!"

Our brudder loves boats.
We gotta take a pic with it.

"Frame this pic, bro!"

This is HTO park, an urban beach with white sand on the Water Front.
We can't picture humans will be sun-bathing at this moment.

Next morning, our bro was happy to find a basket
from the Easter bunny.

Meanwhile, mom wasn't so happy because
it snowed over night!

Right.. we can't share anything with him!!

On Easter Monday, it was chilly but sun was out!
We enjoyed another walkie at Cherry Beach.

Let's head back..., we were exhausted.

Kite flying on the beach

On past weekend, it was STILL chilly but a beautiful day!
Daddy decided to fly a kite with us on the beach.

"Santa Clause brought me this kite because I was a good boy!' said proudly.

We visited Scarborough Buffs along the shoreline of Lake Ontario.
Look at the cliffs!  This is a great place to visit.

What am I look at?!?
Scenery???

"Mom... I can't reach there!"

It was -1C (30F) and windy but I couldn't resist going back to icy and muddy water front.
"For my safety", mom put my stuff away for a little while
then I would stay still.  How mean!!!

So this is me begging her to get back my frisbee.

Yappy~!
Me, a happy Pinot went to back to fetch game
and just about to jump to water again!  hehehe... :D

Booties!

Thank you for guessing what these red-thingies are
in our last post.

These look like balloons or lolly pop, right?

  These are called PawZ!

Ruby was right! These are our booties!
A virtual Margarita is on the way, Ruby!

We've lost so many booties but this disposable, reusable
rubber ones work well and last very long!

Paws up!

"Is winter over yet?!?"
Do you remember our brudder read
"A Bone Tree" from "Three Stories You Can Read to Your Dogs" book?
(Link)

He borrowed another one "Three MORE Stories You Can Read to Your Dogs"

I was really falling asleep again...

zzzzzzzz....

I, Momo, always enjoy my own space.
I find a new spot to relax in brudder's room. ;)
