Mommy had to get a manual for me! But threw it out when she found out there was no part that related to me at all!

Momo! Pinot! Where are you?? Anyway, my Mama got gatillions of books before my human brother was born and she studied frantically all through her pregnancy.
ReplyDeleteThen on their first morning home, she sat bolt upright in bed and was afraid she wouldn't know what to do. So she changed him, fed him, bathed him, played with him, put him down for a nap, changed him, fed him .... and he's a big healthy boy now!!
Tell your Mama to read and read. It will give her confidence.

ReplyDeleteI don't want ta burst yer bubble but there are a ton of books about dogs...trainin' dogs....feedin' dogs...raisin' dogs....breedin' dogs etc. etc. etc.....Gram has a bunch right here....course it's because we're just as important as hooman babies...only they get bigger.....congrats on yer award...

(my human adds that she tried books, too, when we got our small ones, but ended up throwing them all away because she realised that her common sense and intuition proved best after all - go figure; any DOG knows that!)

Mummy says mini human do not operate according to manuals. She's tried everything and didn't work. And she's come to a point when there were nights she dreams that a mini human could learn to sit and stay with a treats and clicker.
