we sat back, relaxed and watched...
A FIREPLACE!"Sissy, shall I bring a blanket?"
It didn't keep us warm but that cracking sound actually worked for us.
"I am not tipsy.... I am drowsy...."
Still I, Momo sang...
"Christmas time is here, happiness and cheer,
fun for all that pup children call their favorite time of year....
(Turkey, pressies, lots of snuggles... oh yeah!)"
Pinot's head was getting heavier and heavier....
It was Momo's turn to rest.
"We wish we can roast marshmallows on a fire!"

ReplyDeleteI'm glad you cleared up the confusion about that photo of you looking back at the camera. I thought for SURE you'd had one too many Christmas pawtinis.
You and Pinot look so comfy snuggling on the couch by your fake TV fireplace. (My girl has that DVD too.)
Get some rest! You're going to have lots of pressies to open, and of course, you'll have to help Baby James open his too!

ReplyDeleteOh your dawg house is so beautiful! You dawgs looked like you were doing a photo shoot for a magazine. In my neck of the woods we have something called the Yule Log on tv on Christmas morning. It's a fireplace with a roaring fire and Christmas music playing. When my mom was a little girl it used to play from Christmas Eve until noon on Christmas day. Now it just plays for a couple of hours but we look forward to it every year. I guess we're a littly corny!
